After four decades of hope, disappointment and patience it finally happened. In May 2026 AGF lifted the championship trophy and sent an entire city into the wildest party. A historic rush of joy that spread far beyond the pitch and brought Aarhus together like never before.
The book revives those unforgettable days in words and a wealth of atmospheric photographs. It tells the story of what happens when a shared dream comes true, and a whole city is allowed to let go.
Told through the eyes of the people of Aarhus: fans, players, professors and ordinary citizens. It is both a lasting memory of the gold party and a tribute to the city, the community and the passion that made it something special.
For the book, Lars Bech shot more than 18.000 frames. Just over 100 of them made it onto the 240 pages.
